It’s so lovely to meet you. Here are a few things about me.

Materials I use

Pencils

I mostly like dark smudgey pencils - 4B or 6B. Palomino Blackwings are my favourite, and I buy them from Foyles in Waterloo station. (I collect pencil stubs in a used Nutella jar, a practice I heartily recommend, as you have to eat the chocolate first).

Paint and Ink

Golden acrylic paint comes in gorgeous colours and has lots of interesting mediums to try. I use a lot of black India ink too, and Dr PH Marten’s watercolour ink also features.

Paper

My favourite paper is Arches Hot Press.

Digital

I use procreate on a 12 inch iPad, with an Apple pencil. And I use photoshop to finish things up. It’s like magic!

Courses I’ve done

I highly recommend Make Art that Sells courses. I have done heaps of them, and they have everything you need to make some great portfolio pieces and meet new people (online!).
