It happens sometimes that at life class you get a rather odd view. A view you just don’t want to paint, all strange angles and awkward positions. However, adversity demands invention – or simply a plain old determination to paint just what it is in front of you.
Here is a mixture of the two: Lula and the Long Red Legs.
I started to giggle when I drew those legs, and have only just stopped, after a morning spent tidying up the paintwork, days later in the studio.
